“You are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people” (Matthew 1:21b)
The baby promised to Mary and Joseph by the angel that first Christmas was no ordinary baby. He was to be given the name “Jesus”, because the meaning of his name revealed who he was: the rescuer the world was waiting for.
This Christmas, we invite you to follow the star, journey to the manger, join the song and come into the presence of Jesus Christ.
