Worship

Followers of Jesus are called to live our whole lives as worship to God. We want to align ourselves to God, reorienting our hearts towards him. A big part of how we do this is to gather for worship.

We normally hold a variety of different services each week, some informal and some more formal. We’d love you to join us.

Sunday Services

In September 2021 we made a change to our regular service pattern.

8am Traditional

A traditional (Book of Common Prayer) service of Holy Communion in Lutterworth on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.

9.30am Classic

A ‘classic’ service following the Common Worship pattern of the Church of England. This service will be taking place in our sister churches in Cotesbach (1st and 3rd Sundays) and Bitteswell (2nd and 4th Sundays).

11am Contemporary

A new format for us here – less formal and in a similar vein to the old 4pm service. With a live band (when possible) and deeper teaching. This gathering also includes our children’s activities – Treehouse for 3-11s.

7pm Reflective

Another new format for us and something we’re still developing. This will last about 1 hour and explore a theme through a variety of Bible readings and prayers. This service will usually take place in Lutterworth Church roughly once a fortnight. Check our calendar for the most up-to-date details.

Resources

Here we upload useful resources for our church, including the liturgy we use for services to give you an idea of what to expect if you join us.
