What is Alpha?
The Alpha Course is for anyone who wants to know more about the Christian faith. Whether you have never set foot in a church or have been going to church for years then Alpha is for you.
Alpha runs over a period of 10 weeks. Each session includes food, a short talk and a discussion.
The talks are designed to encourage conversation and to explore the basics of the Christian Faith in a friendly, open and informal way. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you like.
How does it work?
Alpha is gentle with no pressure, no follow up and no charge. Each session starts with a meal and a chance to make new friends. Following the meal there is a talk exploring various aspects of the Christian faith. In small groups, you can then chat over a cup of coffee, ask any question and discuss your opinions freely with others.
How much does it cost?
Absolutely nothing – everything is provided.
