Lutterworth is a historic market town with a rich and colourful history. In the fourteenth century, John Wycliffe led the pioneering translation of the Bible into English and, more than five hundred years later, Sir Frank Whittle developed the Jet Engine at the Ladywood Works off Leicester Road. St Mary’s has been at the heart of this community for over 800 years and in the 21st Century continues to be a vibrant hub that serves the local area.
