The tower stonework is crumbling and in need of careful stone masonry and restoration.
The paint and gold lettering of the clock face are painted onto the underlying masonry and are in poor condition.
The planned restoration includes the repair of the masonry and repainting of the clock face and numbers. This will restore the colour and vibrancy of the clock.
This work requires the erection of scaffolding and the employment of specialist stonemasons and conservators.
Some funds have already allocated to the project but is estimated that this work will cost a further £10,000 to complete.
