Rooted is our Youth Group for everyone aged 11-18. We meet on Thursday evenings from 7-8.30pm in the Church Gate Centre. Rooted is a place where young people can gather in a fun and safe place to play games, have great discussions and, most importantly, learn about Jesus.
At Rooted we are excited about seeing young people engaging with the Bible, which we believe to be the word of God. Our aim as leaders is to encourage young people to meet Jesus, to know his love and forgiveness and to grow a personal relationship with him. In the Bible in the book of Ephesians 3:17-18 it says these encouraging and challenging words:
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ
Everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a Christian, or just looking into the Christian faith, we’d love to welcome you to one of our weekly sessions or social events. We regularly run courses that help introduce Jesus and discover what Christians believe, such as Youth Alpha and Christianity Explored.
