As we pray as a church, seeking God passionately, we feed on his word. These readings are to guide our thoughts and reflections – the reference gives the wider passage to consider if desired.

- When the Lord comes, the deaf will hear the words of the book and, delivered from shadows and darkness, the eyes of the blind will see. The poor and resourceless will find fresh joy in God. Isaiah 29:15-21

- The first of Jesus’ signs was at Cana in Galilee. He revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him. John 2:1-12
- Jesus prayed to his Father for his disciples, saying: Keep those you have given me true to your name, so that they may be one as we are one. John 17:1-11
